There are 11 golf courses near Belle Isle, most within one hour. The castle's team can arrange preferred tee times, discounted greens fees, and other benefits at some courses.
- Lough Erne Resort: Belle Isle guests may reserve one of Belle Isle's well-equipped boats for £20 per day. The boats are 17-foot Daragh fibreglass boats with double skins fitted with 5- to 15-horsepower, 4-stroke Honda engines. Anchors are available for pike fishermen.
- Bundoran: 18-hole championship course, one of the oldest in the area and on the seafront.
- Castle Coole (Enniskillen): Century-old 18-hole parkland course on the wooded grounds of Castle Coole, the National Trust's most important property.
