EXCLUSIVE HIRE OF THE ESTATE:

Each booking offers exclusive use of the castle, gardens and grounds with accommodation in 8 luxurious bedrooms (3 of which are twin bedrooms) which are serviced twice daily. Meals are prepared by the castle's on-site chef and elegantly served in the dining room by dedicated staff, as well as beverages (including alcohol). Food preferences and dietary requirements can be catered for providing these are informed in advance. Selected outdoor activities are included in the tariffs.

Estate activities included in tariffs and organised by Pitcastle's staff are:

  • Rainbow and brown trout fishing on the top lochs including fly fishing tuition
  • Salmon and trout fishing on estate-owned stretch of the River Tay
  • Air rifle shooting
  • Walking
  • Game-viewing
  • Croquet, bowling and putting on the lawns
  • Clay pigeon shooting
  • Strathtay Golf Club

There is also free broadband wi-fi throughout the house and guests have access to office services such as printer, fax and photocopier if required.

The estate offers fantastic deer-stalking opportunities as well as pheasant and partridge shooting and duck-flighting at an additional cost. Advance notice is required for these activities. All stalking is accompanied by the estate's Head Stalker. Outstanding stalking activities can also be provided on Pitcastle's 14’000 acre sister estate, Glenlochay.

Deer stalking is priced depending on the Stag. The stag season in Scotland is from July - October.

Bird shoot tariffs vary and can be given on request.

Other activities which can be arranged at an additional cost include:

  • Transport to and from Edinburgh or Glasgow airports
  • Chauffeur service
  • Visits to Blair Castle or Scone Palace or other sites of interest
  • Visits to Gleneagles and other golf courses

Rates from £3,900 for the first night and £3,150 for subsequent nights on a fully inclusive basis exclusive of VAT.
