Superior Suite

The highest bedchamber in the castle with the largest hotel bed in the UK (see photo above)! The headpiece, which has a carved cherub, has been gold gilded in 24 carat gold. The fabric for the bed is one of the finest silk damasks, and all embellishments on the bed are pure silk.

Accessed via a stone spiral staircase, situated on the third floor of the South Wing Tower.

This bedchamber overlooks the vineyards and the River Severn in the distance. From the bathroom there are views over the Tudor gardens and St. Mary’s Parish Church.

This suite has a fireplace and is soon to have its very own rooftop terrace.
