Amberley Castle is certainly one of the most romantic locations for a wedding.
Through the walls of the portcullis and 60' curtain walls you will find ornamental gardens and fine examples of Medieval architecture, with privacy, luxury and an unrivalled atmosphere of peace and tranquillity.

Amberley Castle is licensed for civil marriages or, for a religious ceremony, the beautiful church of St Michael's in Amberley village is just a short stroll away. Your wedding day is probably the most exciting of your life and one that requires very special planning and organisation.

This can be a daunting prospect, which is why at Amberley Castle the staff will do all they can to give you the help and advice you need to ensure that the day runs smoothly.

The team also believes that your wedding is unique and prefers, therefore, to discuss your individual requirements and tailor make the day to meet your needs. The castle is available for exclusive hire and regretfully does not cater for evening functions unless exclusive use is taken.

 

To hold a daytime ceremony and reception, the following options are available:-

11.30am Wedding Ceremony in the Great Room or King Charles Room.
12.00 noon Drinks Reception in Castle Grounds or Lounge Areas and Photographs in the Castle's Beautiful Gardens.
1.00pm Wedding Breakfast in the Great Room or King Charles Room, Cutting of the Cake, Speeches and Coffee.
5.00pm Depart from Amberley Castle.

Amberley Castle is also available for 'exclusive hire', giving you and your guests total privacy in which to capture the spirit of dreams and legends. With exclusive hire, Amberley Castle is able to cater for weddings for 55 guests, with the option of having a marquee in the grounds for up to 150. A non-refundable deposit for the room hire amount is required to secure the booking.

Exclusive hire includes accommodation, breakfast and VAT and the castle is available from 3pm on the day of your wedding to 11am the following day. A non-refundable deposit of £3000.00 is required to secure the booking.

Exclusive Hire Costs Per Day:
Midweek (Monday – Thursday) - £8,000.00
Fridays and Saturdays - £12,000.00
Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays - £9,000.00
