Eat around a huge oak table in the dining room

Food & Drink

The Dining Room is at the heart of the castle and proffers an invitation to be part of a unique country castle experience for breakfast, afternoon tea and supper.

Enjoy your food with other guests at one of the huge oak tables in the Dining Room, at a table of your own in the Conservatory, in the Drawing Room, on the terrace, or in the garden.

With great pubs and restaurants nearby, Augill Castle doesn't have a full service restaurant, instead they serve an informal grazing menu - simple, easy, fresh sharing platters and other light dishes as the perfect accompaniment to a drink from the Great British Bar. They always have simple dishes available for children and an open door policy in the kitchen. Augill Castle create bespoke dinner menus for private dinner parties for groups of six or more.

Booking is essential.

The Great British Bar @ Augill Castle

An exciting new concept in bar keeping - an entirely British bar offering everything from independent, artisan British producers.

Private Dining

The Drawing Room can host more formal private dinner parties from six to fourteen people. Choose from the informal 'Four Counties' menu or enjoy a bespoke fine dining experience, designed around your particular preferences, starting at £30 per head. Or, of course, you can take a table for up to 20 all to yourselves in the Dining Room.

Film and Supper

Have a dinner party with an added twist, with the hire of the twelve seated art deco cinema. Popcorn included! It's the only cinema for more than 20 miles! Choose from the 'Four Counties' menu or have a set two course supper, including a glass of wine and box of popcorn each for £25 per head.

Afternoon Tea

A theatrical feast of finger sandwiches, freshly made cakes, scones with jam and clotted cream and lashings of tea, coffee or Champagne. Afternoon tea is served every day. Advance booking is essential.

We happened to be their only guests, and they made sure we felt like part of the family. We were encouraged to explore and make full use of the entire home. It was fabulous and exceeded my expectations. Our family will always fondly remember the Augill Castle.
