Augill Castle

Augill Castle is truly a child friendly and family friendly castle, where parents can kick off their shoes and relax knowing that their children are having an equally good time. Young visitors to Augill are often adopted by Wendy and Simon's own children as ‘special friends’ and are whisked off to the ‘Den’, the playground, tennis court or the trampoline.

Augill CastleOnce the fresh air has tired them out, there is an extensive library of videos and DVDs, a games' room, toys for all ages and a whole castle complete with towers and turrets to explore. Bedrooms are big enough to comfortably take extra beds, most have DVD players; all the bathrooms and baths are big, some are enormous.

There are inter-connecting bedrooms, family suites or rooms big enough for extra beds without the risk of shin damage! Cots, highchairs, baby listening, flexible eating options (all conceivable adult and children’s dietary whims are accommodated). Family rooms all come equipped with a box of books, toys and emergency supplies as well as nappy disposal units for younger visitors.

Augill Castle The castle owners have endless ideas of where to go and what to do throughout Cumbria, Yorkshire, Durham & Northumberland with young children.

Also, don't forget, there's the fantastic 'Augill Little Cooks' children's cookery school too.
