About Ballynagowan
Ballynagowan Castle, built by the last
King of Munster and Earl of Thomond and Inchiquine more than
5 centuries ago and last inhabited in mid 19th century, has
now been restored to provide a historic self-catering holiday
past and present, ancient stone and features paired with all
the comfort of 21st century.
On grounds of almost
5 acres, the romantic castle is situated on a rock eminence
surrounded by a peak with mature trees and the river Deelagh,
gently flowing in a lovely glen of rich vegetation. |

We had a wonderful time. It was a truly great Finish
for our trip to Ireland. I have save the information
and the next time we come to Ireland we will be in touch.
The word is spreading in the USA, as we are telling
everyone who will listen about your castle. I would
certainly recommend your accommodations. Please feel
free to give anyone my e-mail address. We did enjoy
ourselves.
Martin
was a great host. He was very helpful and friendly.
We were very pleased with his assistance. He did a great
job in explaining everything about the castle and the
local area. You are lucky to have such a good "gatekeeper".
Again
we really did enjoy our 3 nights and as I said I would
be happy to recommend your castle.

| "The
castle was absolutely beautiful, friendly and very warm
throughout the holiday. At night we all felt like kings
and queens sat around the medieval fireplace with roaring
fire. It was perfect and an unforgettable winter break.
We
had a fantastic time at Ballynagowan castle & in Ireland
generally. Beautiful country and very friendly people."
