The Estate

Blair Estate in Ayrshire is made up of the 900 year old Blair Castle, the 400 acre Walled Policies and Gardens and the 19th century Carriage House. The family seat of the Blair family since its foundation in 1105, Blair is a unique blend of the ages, from the original Norman Pele tower built by the original Baron Jean Francois de Blare, to the Victorian additions of the dining room and elegant drawing room. Outside, you can wander to your heart’s content through landscaped gardens and working woodland, pause on a wrought iron bridge to enjoy the babbling of the Bombo Burn as it meanders through the policies, or simply relax beside the pool.
