| The wedding ceremony itself can
be held in the castle, with seating capacity for 100. Also, there
is a beautiful church in the nearby village of Straiton.
Up to 50 guests can be seated in the Dining Room for
the wedding meal, and up to 100 guests for a reception. For larger
numbers a marquee is available. The castle and its grounds offer
an ideal location for wedding photography.
Accommodation
The castle can sleep 26. There is a Dower House on the Estate which
can sleep 21. There are also 7 holiday cottages which can sleep
from 4-8 each.

Bride and Groom's car
James Hunter Blair's 1936 Alvis 12/70 Drophead Coupé, in
unrestored condition, can be borrowed for the wedding.
Entertainment
Various forms of entertainment can be arranged, such as pipers,
bands, dancers and so on.

Flowers
During the summer, Blairquhan has an excellent array of flowers
in the garden and these can be arranged by the castle.
Car Parking
There is ample parking for cars in front of the castle. There is
space for coaches too.
