Bovey Castle Golf Course


The Old Course at Bovey Castle is a challenging and beautiful championship golf course, designed in 1926 by JF Abercromby, one of the finest British golf course designers of the Golden Era.

Overlooking the first hole, the Castle Bistro is a friendly and relaxed place to enjoy an early breakfast, casual lunch or drink with friends.

The Club's Golf Shop will be able to reserve your tee-times and arrange golf lessons for the complete beginner to advanced tuition. Clubs and a wide choice of golf merchandise are also available.

The Golf Course and the Golf Academy are playable throughout the year and cater for every type of play. The academy greens are specifically tailored for short game bunker play and putting. The castle’s professionals offer expert guidance and teaching for all standards and the course hosts a PGA Championship each year.
