Carr
Hall Castle is owned by Leeds' entrepreneurs Terry George and Michael
Rothwell. It's situated in a secluded, wooded valley, adjacent to a
deer park, a short drive away from the town of Halifax in West Yorkshire.
It was bought by Terry and Michael in 2002 after falling in love with
it the minute they drove up the drive. They spent the next 4 years
toiling over the renovations, spending almost £1 million transforming
it.
Carr Hall Castle is now available to hire for a weekend, or longer if required. The castle sleeps up to 10 people in its 5 double bedrooms, has 2 extra bathrooms, a large open plan entertainment area and dining, not forgetting the indoor swimming pool, gym and hot tub. Set in 12 acres of lush land, there's an outside courtyard with barbeque area and a lake with a rowing boat.
