The adjoining Mansion House built at the height
of the Scottish Baronial style offers a careful blend of traditional
Scottish castle hotel hospitality and modern comfort.
The house contains several noteworthy rooms,
most with extensive Jacobean oak panelling.
All 14 en-suite bedrooms are individually furnished,
most with four-poster beds, whilst the two honeymoon suites both
have elaborate canopied beds and en-suite whirlpool baths. All
rooms have colour TV and radio, tea and coffee facilities, ironing
and hairdrying equipment.
Comlongon Castle has 3 honeymoon suites (all
with en-suite Jacuzzi), 3 single/twin rooms, 1 family suite (sleeps
4 in 2 adjoining rooms) and 7 double rooms (1 can cater as a family
suite, sleeping a maximum of 4). All rooms are en-suite. Only
5 of the 6 doubles are capable of accepting one extra bed each.
Extra beds cannot be placed in the bridal suites or the twin rooms.
We recommend that the Bride/Groom allocate rooms to their guests
themselves to control who books into individual rooms.
It is advisable to allocate as many rooms within the castle as
guests attending the wedding; another wedding party will invariably
book any vacant rooms |
