The rates are per room per night based on two people sharing (single rooms excepted) and are inclusive of accommodation, full Scottish breakfast and dinner, where applicable. VAT at the current rate is also included. Please note these rates do not cover the Christmas and New Year period.
Selkirk
Cringletie's most prestigious 'room' is the Selkirk Suite. It boast a complete lounge, a bedroom and a sophisticated bathroom. It is not only ideal as honeymoon suite, but also for the more mature couples who want to go away for a couple of days and spoil each other. All three rooms have a flatscreen TV, even the bathroom.
Kelso
Principal Super King (180cm); spacious room with original, ornamental
fire place and views over the gardens, fields and hills to the west;
bathroom with shower over bath. Luxurious Gilchrist & Soames amenities
including bath crystals for a relaxing bath, shampoo and conditioner,
a refreshing dental rinse etc.
Melrose
Principal 4 Poster Super King (180cm); spacious room with original,
ornamental fire place overlooking the grounds and the hills to the west
from bay window. Decorated in the Charles Rennie McIntosh style. Bathroom
with bath and separate shower. Luxurious Gilchrist & Soames amenities
including bath crystals for a relaxing bath, shampoo and conditioner,
a refreshing dental rinse etc. The ideal room for a perfect romantic

Peebles
Principal King (160cm) with traditional half poster bed; spacious room
with original, ornamental fire place at the front of the house overlooking
the woodlands to the east. Special feature of this room are the few
steps down into dressing area and bathroom. This bathroom has a traditional
roll top bath and separate shower cubicle. Luxurious Gilchrist &

Glentress
Deluxe Super King (180cm); spacious, romantic turret room with original, ornamental fire place and views from the turret to the Moorfoot hills and Peebles. Bathroom with shower over bath. Traquair
Traquair is Cringletie's special Deluxe bedroom for the disabled, although
the room can equally be used by anybody who likes a Deluxe Room. Comprehensive
facilities for the user of wheelchairs range from electrically adjustable
beds and chairs, to a versatile bathroom.
Eddleston
Standard Super King (180cm); pretty top floor room with spacious built
in wardrobe. Glorious views over the hills to the west. Bathroom with
shower over bath and luxurious Gilchrist & Soames amenities.
Jedburgh
Standard Super King (180cm) on the ground floor. Wooden floor to allow
for small pets; overlooking the gardens and fields to the west. Bathroom

Standard Double (140cm); sweet looking top floor room with built in
