A rich tapestry of arts and culture and recent extensive renovation has created 27 beautiful bedrooms. These are decorated in Scottish design fabrics such as tweed, tartan and twill. Period furniture, rugs and carpets combine to create a richly warm and luxurious feel that’s deeply relaxing and truly welcoming.

Themed Rooms
The hotel boasts 14 historically themed bedrooms. Each of these is individually designed and elegantly styled to create a room full of unique character.

Standard Rooms
Although individually designed, all rooms, including the standard rooms, have every comfort the modern guest could wish for. Whether you are recovering after a hard day of outdoor pursuits, or just want a little time to unwind in your own company, you are sure to feel very much at home.



The Lodge
The 100 year old lodge, now brought back into the estate, and built in the original castle quarry, is just two minutes walk from the castle, and is accessible by car. The additional 5 bedrooms all with en-suite shower are newly re-furbished in a relaxing country house style. Lodge guests will have exclusive use of the sauna and jacuzzi facilities.
