Golf
The Dornoch Firth and surrounding areas must be a golfer's heaven because there are some of the finest 18 hole courses in the Highlands all within a short driving distance from each other.

There is the Royal Dornoch Championship Golf Course only 5 minutes' walk from the castle and the courses of Tain, Golspie and Brora are a few minutes' drive away.

The courses are extremely popular during April to September and booking would be advisable.

Staff at Dornoch Castle would be only too happy to organise your tee times for you, airport transfers, and transporting you from one course to another, should you have the energy to play two different courses each day!
