When hiring the facilities exclusively,
Dundas Castle offers a wide range of popular activities
for its guests to enjoy and there are new ones being added
all the time.
Golf
Dundas Castle has its own 9 hole parklands course. Membership
of the course is available only to local people and so it
is a friendly as well as a pretty course to play. There
are over 120 other courses, many of them championship courses,
within an hour's drive of the castle or ten minutes by helicopter!
Shooting
Dundas has a five stand clay shooting area within the grounds
and about one mile from the castle. All equipment is provided,
as are expert instructions. Shelter from the weather and
refreshments are included.

Helicopter
Tours
Just a short hop from Edinburgh Airport you can land any
number of helicopters at Dundas Castle. From the castle
you are within a few minutes by helicopter of many of Scotland's
world famous golf courses or a tour of the majestic Highlands.
Fishing
The world-renowned beats of the Tweed and the Tay are only
one hour from Dundas Castle. Brown and Rainbow Trout fishing
is available in the many Loch's that surround the area.
Falconry
Falconry displays can be arranged for you and your guests
in the grounds of the castle.
Hot Air
Ballooning
With one thousand acres and fine weather conditions, there
is no more spectacular way to view the Forth Bridges than
by balloon.
Sailing
The whole of the Firth of Forth and t's islands are there
to explore by sailing boat charter or by luxurious cruiser.
Dingy sailing is available from the nearby marina.
Archery
Test your skills with this ancient sport. So important was
this sport to the defence of the nation that the King was
forced to ban the playing of golf so that the men could
practice their archery skills.
Highland
Games

entertainment or you and your guests can participate in
some of the activities illustrated here.

Walks
Those seeking less energetic pursuits can enjoy a quiet,
pleasant walk in the grounds, including pretty woodlands
leading down to the castle's very own private loch.
