Second Floor

One this floor, the Ruthven Suite boasts a double aspect, with windows to the north and west, while its bathroom has spectacular views to the the south and west. Other features include an unusual Provincial half-tester king-size bed, a writing table, ample storage in the dressing room, plus an original Doulton of Paisley canopy bath and a day bed in the bathroom.

Also on this floor, the Carmichael Suite enjoys a triple aspect of north, east and south. The bed has an Italian silver-gilt double frame, with a soft and incredibly comfortable mattress. If you can bear to leave the bed, there are period chairs in the room from which to admire the views, or simply sit by the fireplace and enjoy a drink.
