The castle and surroundings

Castle Gardens

The castle gardens provide an environment in which visiting gardeners can investigate and examine the flowers, plants and trees.

The walled garden has fresh fruit and vegetables for the kitchen, and there are opportunities for walking, croquet and tennis.

A parade of clipped yew trees leads from the Limerick made sundial to the castle. An intimate moment in the morning room.

In the lost Victorian Gardens can be found a restored Gothic Hermitage

Glin Castle welcomes horticultural groups and societies.
