Hazlewood Castle has plenty of activities
for your delegates to get involved with including paintballing,
clay pigeon shooting on site, visiting the historic
city of York and Hazlewood's very own cooking competition
'On Your Marks Get Set Cook':
The cookery afternoon consists of your
delegates being split into groups of 3 or 4, they will
be given some mystery ingredients, the groups have 15
minutes to write their own menu, then they are given
the run of the castle kitchens to prepare their meal
within 45 minutes. John Benson-Smith, the Chef Patron
and former Master Chef judge, will taste the dishes
and decide on the winner. The winner will receive a
prize and certificate. This is priced at £65.00
per person.
3.00pm: The day starts with a brief from
John Benson-Smith about the day's events.
3.30pm: Get into your white coats and start writing
your menus.
3.45pm: This is where the action starts you have 1 hour
to turn your menu into the real thing.
4.45pm: Your hour is up, it’s time to present
your dishes.
5.00pm: Time to relax in the Prickly Pear over afternoon
tea & find out who the winner is.
Delegate Rates
8 Hour Day Delegate Rate - Based on a minimum
attendance of 10 delegates - £55 per person
Includes:
- Use of the meeting room with
flipchart, pads and pencils
- Morning coffee, tea and warm croissants
- Mid morning coffee, tea and yummy flapjack
- Two course snack menu in the Prickly
Pear cafe OR a "working luncheon" in your
meeting room
- Tea and coffee with scones, jam and
cream in the afternoon
- Mineral water, fruit cordials and sweets
- VAT at the current rate
- Conference Emergency Kit - scissors,
staples etc
24 Hour Delegate Rate
Based on a minimum attendance of 10 delegates - £185.00
per person
Day Delegate items as above plus:
- Three course Prickly Pear or
Restaurant 1086 Dinner Menu
- Overnight Luxury Based Accommodation
- Morning Newspaper
- Full Yorkshire Breakfast
