The
Area
To journey to Inverlochy allows one to experience a memorable
passage through history.The
Lower Falls of Glen Nevis are a breath-taking sight, with
the water gushing down the sheer rock face. There is also
the Glenfinnan Monument as well as the whole of Glencoe.
The
roads and railway lines from lowland Edinburgh and Glasgow
meet on the steady climb up through the Scottish mountainside
to the haunting wilderness of Rannoch Moor, sombre with
the memories of a centuries' old clan battle. Coming north
from Inverness, the route skirts the awe-inspiring Loch
Ness and its elusive resident before culminating in the
glorious tranquillity of Inverlochy.
