Capacity and Accommodation
Markree Castle can accommodate a maximum of 150 people for dinner. The castle has 30 bedrooms, each accommodating at least 2 people. A minimum of 20 bedrooms must be booked for exclusive functions. The castle is happy to offer a 10% discount for your wedding guests, and the bridal room is complimentary on your special night. Supplementary accommodation within the castle grounds and surrounding area can be arranged.
Reception Cocktail
The castle offers a wide variety of reception drinks for your guests upon arrival, to include champagne, punch, mulled wine, or any other refreshment that you desire.
Food and Drink
Special attention is given to the wedding meal, from quality of preparation to presentation. Menus are flexible and can be tailored to meet your individual requirments. With over 250 bins from the old and new world in the castle cellar, all palates will be pleased.
