humbly titled 'Standard' rooms maintain the opulence and elegance of the
castle, and can only be called 'standard' when compared to the grandeur
of the Superior Rooms.
These rooms vary in location and shape, but most offer delightful views
over the castle's grounds and the North Esk River. Twins & Doubles

Superior Rooms
The Superior Rooms are so named as they are luxuriously spacious, with
attention to fine detail of utmost importance. The large windows elegantly
frame spectacular views of the castle's grounds, and in the rear facing
rooms the meandering North Esk River. The Superior category of rooms comprises
Gallery Rooms and Four-Poster Suites.
Gallery Rooms
The two-tiered gallery rooms provide a unique hotel experience, with the
sleeping quarters on the upper floor, overlooking a luxurious living area
below.
Four-Poster Suites
To complete the castle experience, one must experience the grandeur of
a four-poster bed with spacious, opulent and romantic living quarters.
For some much deserved indulgence, request the 'Spa' four-poster suite.
Melville Castle's bedrooms include full en-suite facilities (with power
shower), luxury toiletries for use in your room, hair dryer, Sky television,
room telephone with data port, modem access & wireless internet, hospitality
tray, digital room safe and electric shaver multi volt point.
In addition to the above, Superior bedrooms have bathrobes, slippers and
trouser press.
Available on request are 24-hour room service, early morning calls, newspaper
delivery and ironing facilities.
