Marry at Minard Castle
Located on the shores of scenic Loch Fyne, Minard Castle is the perfect romantic venue for your wedding in a Scottish castle, whether it be a simple celebration or a lavish, catered affair.

Hold your wedding ceremony in the castle's elegant Drawing Room or in the formal Dining Room, or choose an outdoor setting in the castle gardens, on the lawn, or overlooking the Loch.

Ceremony
The castle is licensed for civil weddings performed by a Registrar, or you may of course have a religious ceremony. Both the Drawing Room and the Dining Room have maximum seating capacities of 40. Outdoors, the sky literally is the limit!

Reception
Receptions for up to 40 people may be held in the Dining Room and Breakfast Room or in the Drawing Room, and a marquee can be used for larger receptions or for catered dinners.

Overnight Guests
Minard Castle can accommodate up to 20 overnight guests, including the Bride and Groom, in the castle's bed and breakfast rooms and self-catering units. In addition there are several good hotels in the area, including the Lochgair Hotel, only five miles away, which serves excellent food.

Facilities
Catering, Drinks, Wedding Cakes, Flowers, Music, Photography and Kilt Hire are all available locally, and the castle can recommend a professional co-ordinator either to assist you with details or to organise your entire event.
