A most unique and romantic setting
for your weddings - you can be assured that your day will be successful,
memorable and above all, stress-free. The castle is a private residence,
but a small, select number of weddings take place. This makes Plane Castle
an unparalleled and exclusive setting for your special day.
Wedding ceremonies have taken place within the Tower, in the Manor House Great Hall and in the castle grounds. This facility is only available to those renting the buildings. The castle staff can advise and assist with virtually all aspects of the wedding.
Weddings can be arranged with seated banquets in the Manor House for up to 20 people, or buffets for up to 30 guests resident in the Manor, or up to 12 for those renting the Tower alone. All arrangements, including musicians, can be made.
If additional numbers are joining a party for a wedding or banquets and ceilidhs, an additional fee of 100 pounds is charged.
The castle can be taken for self-catering accommodation for a minimum of 3-7 nights and a wedding facility fee of 150 pounds is applicable.
