The castle sleeps upto 19 people.

Accommodation consists of the following:

5 Double Rooms (sleeping 10)
2 Single Rooms (sleeping 2)
2 Bunk Beds (sleeping 4)
3 Foldaway Beds (sleeping 3)

"The clear highlight of a recent trip to Ireland was my stay at Castle
Ross in County Caven. My delightful hosts went the extra mile to make certain my stay was comfortable and memorable,even making a wondeful wood and turf fire in the downstairs sitting room.

I stayed in the lower tower room which is thought to be the most haunted room in the castle and had a wonderful night. Although I never saw any ghosts, I could never shake the feeling that someone was following me about the castle all night and, in the middle of the night, I heard what sounded as if someone was draging something very heavy across the floor of the sitting room adjacent to my bedroom. Upon returning home, I discovered a ghosly shadow-like form in a photograph I took in the adjacent sitting room for which I can discover no natural (unghostly)
explanation.

Whether one wishes to chase a ghost or two or just expeience the thrill of staying in a wonderfully decorated sixteenth century castle, one can do no better than to plan a stay at Ross Castle."
