After 200 yards turn right, (no sign) to the end of the road,
turn left and right (Shieldhill Road)
A after 1.5 miles Shieldhill Castle is on the right.
GLASGOW (30 miles)
Take M8 (Edinburgh) to junction 6 (A73 Lanark).
In Carluke turn left (A721 Peebles).
In Carnwath, at the lights turn right (Biggar).
After 4 miles, turn right (Quothquan) to the end of the road,
turn left (Shieldhill Road).
Shieldhill Castle is 1.5 miles on the left.
FROM THE M74 AND THE SOUTH
Take A702 signed Edinburgh. In Biggar turn left on to B7016,
signed Carnwath. After 2 miles turn left on to Shieldhill Road.
Shieldhill Castle is 1 mile on the right.
