Deluxe Bedchambers

The deluxe bedchambers are mostly located across the courtyard, although two of them are in the tower in the South Wing, and one of which is the bedchamber that Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn slept in during their stay here in 1535.

Views from these rooms vary. The two deluxe bedrooms in the South Wing Tower overlook the Tudor garden and vineyard and the others overlook the ancient courtyard, front lawn and fields to the rear of the castle. Most deluxe bedchambers have four-poster beds and open fires and some have ornate ceilings, tapestries and wood panelling. Two deluxe rooms have twin beds.
