Sleeps up to 7 people + baby
(5 in Tower, 2 in Cottage)
A romantic's idyll, the Tower of Hallbar, formerly home to the Lockharts
of Lee was built circa 1581 and stands next to the Braidwood Burn.
Set within five acres of orchard and meadow in the beautiful Clyde
Valley, the Tower rises four storeys high and is crowned by a garrett,
cap house and parapet walkway.
The
building has been evocatively decorated with heraldic ceiling paintings,
rich fabrics and oak furniture to invoke the feeling of living in
the 16th century. The adjacent cottage has been fitted out with
facilities suitable for a physically-disabled person and their carer.
The
Tower of Hallbar, awarded 4* Self Catering by the Scottish Tourist
Board is the perfect location for a holiday in the Clyde Valley.
