The mystical experience begins when guests arrive at the ferry point to be taken across the water to another world. Passing through a stone archway you are greeted by an open log fire and beautiful Portland stone walls, adorned with the original tapestries of the family that lived here for over 500 years. If you look closely enough you can see evidence of mounted spears and swords from past times.
