Château de Codignat boasts
a restaurant listed in the principal dining guides, whose
Head Chef, Stéphane Dupay, has gained one Michelin
star. He proposes a modern cuisine, harnessing the best that
local produce has to offer, thus presenting gastronomic riches
to his diners.
"To be a chef is to foster taste and the sense of flavour,
and to honor the quality of natural products. By blending
what is good to the taste buds and beautiful to the eye, my
sole aim is to pass onto you the pleasure I take in creating
the fine dishes offered to your choice"-Stéphane
Dupay
In summer, you will appreciate dinner
in the charming dining room as well as lunch in the cool shade
of the arbour, while the snug comfort of the château’s
salons and parlours will delight you year round. Lunch and dinner
are served on the terrace in fine weather.
The dining room in the centre of the
tower lets you re-live the splendour of the meals of olden
days, the dresser hides treasures which welcome a cuisine
harmoniously linking the local gastronomic riches with the
farm products of Auvergne.
