Le Cuvage, the Beaujolais word for the place where wine is made, is part of the buildings surrounding the Basse Cour (lower courtyard) and is now used for concerts, private parties and banquets. The château's extensive wine cellar lies beneath it.
This building has been magnificently and very faithfully restored to its 18th century condition and features many of the artefacts that would have been used in those days for the
making of wine. The floor is even coarse sand as it would have been 300 years ago.
Surely there isn’t a more dramatic location for large dining events in the whole of France!
Available for parties of 8 or more people.
