Owner, Georges Vigouroux's main
business is as a vintner, continuing in the tradition of the Cahors'
wines so admired by the likes of Julius Caesar and Peter the Great,
and barrel upon barrel of his vintages age in the cellars of the
château.
This is the kingdom of Fois Gras, truffles and
wine, where cuisine is rich and generous and can be enjoyed with
a vintage Cahors, aged to perfection in the cathedral-like vaults
of the cellar.
Meals can be taken on the terrace each morning
or in the beautiful gardens and grounds.
