The Swimming Pool

Newly built, the swimming pool is ideally situated facing south and west to take full advantage of the sun from the morning until well into the evening. The large Magnolia tree provides welcome shade for guests taking a poolside lunch. After the sunset, the underwater lights enable guests to take a dip well into the warm evenings. Swimming Pool

The water treatment system is eco friendly in that it uses UV light so there is no chlorine or salt to harm the environment.

The electric safety cover is closed when the pool is not in use and this ensures safety for young children and non swimmers.

The pool is surrounded by attractive gardens with mature trees and shrubs and has magnificent views over the rolling Gascogne countryside.

Gym and Games Room

About 50 metres from the château and adjacent to the Petite Maison, the large barn has been converted into a gym and games room.

The gym area is well equipped with multi gym, cross trainer, and static bike. There is also a full size punch bag.

In the games area there is a pool table, table tennis table, table football and dart board.

In the field opposite the games room there is a badminton net for an informal “knock about” and also an area for ball games.

The château also has bikes for those wanting to explore the local area, which is bike friendly. The château also has equipment for archery and fishing rods for use in the lake.

GardensThe Château Gardens

One of the main features of this château is its mature and well nurtured gardens.

Informal in style, the 10 acres of gardens surround the château and provide pleasant areas to stroll or to sit and relax.

There are some magnificent large trees in the parkland to the front of the château, which provide welcoming shade in the height of summer as well as being home to the resident red squirrels, deer and abundant birdlife.
