
This was until recently the bedroom of the Marquis de Noë. It has splendid views of the woodland garden to the west and château lawns to the south. On clear days there are stunning views of the snow capped Pyrenees to the south west. . The beautiful Gascogne countryside can be seen from both aspects. Adorning the walls are one the Count’s favourite tapestries, depicting a Medieval hunting scene and an oil painting of one of his ancestors.
This double or twin bedded room has an en-suite bathroom with half bath and shower over, and is built into one of the château’s turrets. Traditionally furnished with antique furniture it also has satellite TV, DVD and Hi Fi system.
As the name suggests, this is a large double bedroom and it is tastefully furnished with a stylish mix of antique and traditional pieces. The large windows overlook the expansive lawn to the south of the château and the rolling countryside beyond.
La Grande Chambre has a charming old fireplace which enhances its cosiness when lit in the winter months. As with all the château’s bedrooms, it is also equipped with satellite TV, DVD and Hi Fi System. The modern private bathroom for this bedroom is opposite the bedroom door.
This double bedroom gets its name from the outstanding views which stretch across the château gardens to the Pomiro valley and green, rolling countryside beyond.
This comfortable room is furnished with a sympathetic mix of antique and traditional styles. As with all the bedrooms Chambre de La Campagne is equipped with satellite TV, DVD and Hi Fi system.
The bedroom also has a very large en-suite bathroom with views of the château's flower garden.
This lovely double bedroom has an en-suite shower room in one of the château’s turret rooms and has views of one of the woodland gardens to the front of the château and of the lawn to the south.
There is an ornate wooden fireplace in the corner of the room which, when lit in winter, gives a superb warm ambiance to the room.
The Chambre du Jardin is furnished with antiques and traditional pieces and, as with all the château's bedrooms, it is equipped with satellite TV, DVD and Hi Fi system.
The Chambre de la Marquise is so called as, until recently, it was the bedroom of the Marquise de Noë. She chose this room for its splendid views of the wooded gardens to the east of the château and of her flower garden to the north.
This lovely bedroom is a traditionally furnished double room with a large en-suite shower room and has a TV, DVD and Hi Fi system.
This small house is across the flower garden and about 100 metres from the château.

Totally self contained, the Petite Maison provides flexible accommodation as an annex to the château . The house has 3 bedrooms , 1 double with en-suite shower room , plus 1 double and 1 twin which share a further shower room. There is a living dining area which is open plan to the newly installed and fully equipped kitchen.
The Petite Maison has its own pretty private garden with outdoor seating.
Typical of châteaux in the region, Pomiro has a large Grand Salon with traditional Gascogne stone fireplace and French windows opening onto the expansive lawn . There are also beautiful views over one of the garden terraces to the château’s wooded garden beyond. Guests arriving in September can sample the succulent grapes that grow on the vines overhanging the French windows of the Grand Salon.
The comfortable furnishings in this charming room provide a relaxing ambiance for guests throughout their stay . South facing, the morning sun floods in and in the evening's spectacular sunsets can be seen whilst taking pre-dinner drinks.
Of particular interest in the Grand Salon is the collection of original contemporary paintings representing many European artists.
Overlooking the lawn, this comfortable sitting room is an ideal place to relax with a book or magazine or just listen to music. You can walk out into the garden through the turret room which forms part of the petit salon.
Pre- dinner drinks are often taken in the petit salon and there is a small drinks area in the turret room which has draft beer and spirits as well as a selection of teas and coffees.
This grand dining room is furnished with a mix of antique and some contemporary furniture. The room has a large feature fireplace and a French window which leads out onto the dining terrace which adjoins the flower garden.
As the days are mostly hot and the evenings pleasantly warm, it is usual to take meals on the terrace.
When eating in the dining room, the arrangements are flexible and, if required, 25 people can be accommodated on one large table area. Ideal for large groups at Christmas or that special occasion.
