Alloa Tower
Alloa, Scotland
Alloa Tower is the ancestral home of the Earls or Mar and is the oldest building in Alloa. The tower is one of Scotland’s largest Medieval tower houses that is still standing. Why not take in the views from the tower’s roof walk that stretches the whole way around the top of the tower or browse the collection of portraits, silver and furniture?

Balmerino Abbey

A fantastic example of fine 13th century architecture. Originally a Cistercian monastery, which later became a dwelling house after secularisation in 1603 for the Lords of Balermino.
