Coombe Abbey was founded in 1150 AD by Cistercian Monks; it was then known as the Abbey of Cumbe. It has an illustrious past; dissolution by King Henry VIII, private residence to royalty, involvement in the infamous Gunpowder Plot, to name but a few. Today it welcomes guests from far and wide and continues to go from strength to strength.

Your evening will include:

  • Shimmering Champagne and canapés upon arrival, to the sounds of a saxophonist;
  • A fabulous four-course set feast;
  • Magician;
  • Live band;
  • Casino tables;
  • Traditional Highland piper at midnight;
  • Firework display to see in 2025, with Champagne;
  • Bacon Baps after midnight with a silent disco for those who still want to party into the early hours.

Gather from 7.30 pm for dinner at 8 pm.
Bacon rolls served at midnight.
Bar until 1:30 am.
After-party until 2 am.

Choose from 119 individually designed bedchambers: Crown, Feature and Grand Feature, all rich in furnishings, subtle lighting, and special touches with a choice of beautiful views across the abbey's formal courtyard, tree-lined drive, parkland, lake, and formal gardens.

A non-refundable deposit of £100 per person is required for the New Year Ball and accommodation packages. The remaining balance will be due 8 weeks prior to the event.
