Culzean Castle, Craig Y Nos Castle and Castle Leslie were all featured in the 2002 – 2005 series of Most Haunted.

Culzean Castle also featured in the 1973 thriller ‘The Wicker Man’. Starring Edward Woodward, Christopher Lee, and Britt Eckland. This British thriller tells the story of a devout Christian policeman who is called out to a remote Scottish island by a worried resident regarding the disappearance of a missing child.

Ashford Castle was visited by the Middle Eastern TV station MBC on 19th June this year, where they captured footage of a falconry display for the programme Saba Al Khair (meaning ‘Good Morning’ in Arabic), which is set to attract over 45 million viewers.

Fenton Tower was featured in the BBC children’s programme ‘Balamory’. ITV used the tower to film ‘Something for the Weekend’ with Dr. Hillary Jones and Amanda Hilton.
Fenton Tower was also showcased in several restoration programmes, including ‘Restoration Nation’, plus on some television advertisements.

On ‘The X Factor’ (ITV1) 2006, judge Louis Walsh took his four finalists to Dromoland Castle where he revealed which of his groups were to be in the final.

Dundas Castle was used as a backdrop in the films ‘The Little Vampire’ (2000), ‘Summer Solstice’ and upcoming ‘Book of Blood’. Dundas Castle was also featured in advertisements for Arnold Clark and T4’s links between shows.
