The Citadel
The Citadel in England’s West Midlands has just 3 bedrooms available on a bed and breakfast basis. Sylvia and Beverley, the castle owners, also live in the castle and invite you in to share the experience of a castle stay. The small, red castle stands in a position overlooking the fantastic Shropshire landscape. Rooms begin from just £50 per person per night, which includes breakfast; you can also enjoy dinner at the castle.

Castle Levan
Conveniently located just 20 minutes from Glasgow Airport in the coastal town of Gourock, Castle Levan has been owned and lived in by Jan and Lydia Edlman for a number of years. The castle has just 2 bedrooms available on a bed and breakfast basis; The Former Guards Room and The Master Bedroom. The Former Guards Room is located on the lower level of the property and, as the name suggests, it was once used by the guards to keep an eye on all who entered and left the tower. The Master Bedroom is located higher up in the tower and has a large four poster bed and sofa bed, making it ideal for families. A stay at Castle Levan is available from just £55 per person per night, including breakfast. You could spend your time away from the castle and walk by the Firth of the Clyde or take a trip in to the city of Glasgow and shop, eat or drink in this fantastic city!

Ross Castle
Hopping across the water to The Republic of Ireland now and to Ross Castle. Sam and Benita Walker own Ross Castle and, although one of the smallest castles that we have in Ireland, it makes for the perfect setting for a weekend getaway for groups. The castle can sleep up to 20 guests from just 60 euros per person each night for bed and breakfast accommodation, with stays over Christmas and New Year available from 75 euros per person per night. Of course, you don’t have to stay at the castle as part of a group; you can book individual rooms from Sunday to Friday on a bed and breakfast basis.
