Falconry - An Ancient Art

Falconry is an ancient art as old as any, with some researchers dating it back to around 700BC. The noble act, often associated with the Medieval period and castles, is still practised by dedicated professionals to this day and can be experienced at a number of the properties throughout the Celtic Castles' portfolio.

Our very own Castle Man (pictured above) enjoys the occasional avian encounter, and other guests rave about the unique and memorable experiences they’ve had, and rightly so! Perfect for family days out and corporate events alike, a falconry show is definitely a 'must see' if you get the chance!
