As a nature and tranquillity lover, I chose to write today to my fellow nature and tranquillity enthusiasts, about an unusual castle, located in little-known Shropshire.
It is called The Citadel.
The Citadel is owned by Sylvia and her husband, Beverley, who share a passion for providing an excellent service and atmosphere to all those who come through the castle's door.
Although the castle is a major attraction all by itself, it is the castle's surroundings that make The Citadel such a special place.
There are many National Trust areas and beautiful gardens to visit, and these are within easy reach of The Citadel.
As with many rural places, Sylvia and Beverley grow most of their own vegetables and soft fruit for the house. So if you are staying for dinner, you will be served nothing but the freshest ingredients.
It is one of those places that you can talk about for hours, but you will never know how special it really is until you visit. So if you would like to find out more about The Citadel, please click on the link below, but be warned..,you might be tempted to book!
