Self-Catering Castles in England

If you're looking for an interesting place to stay with family or friends in England, then we have two castles, perfect for you.

The first is Brackenhill Tower, the only Scottish peel tower (fortified house) standing now on English soil. Now just in England, but practically right on the border with Scotland, the tower is just 6 miles from the romantic wedding capital of Scotland, Gretna Green.

All of our team have first-hand experience of Brackenhill Tower as we had our Christmas party there two years ago and we would all be happy to share our memories with you.

The second is at the opposite end of the country; Walton Castle is close to Bristol, it's a Grade II listed detached hill-top castle, with 360 degree views over North Somerset, the Bristol Channel and over to Wales. The castle has a secluded setting and is only 2 miles from the unspoilt Victorian seaside town of Clevedon, near Bristol. The main part of the accommodation is housed on 4 floors in an octagonal keep, sitting in the centre of a stunning cobbled courtyard and private lawned area. Surrounding the keep are several self-contained bedrooms, located in the outlying turrets. There is also an indoor swimming pool that you could cool off in after a day in the sun!

Both properties are self-catering and have fully functioning kitchens.

If either of these properties are of interest to you, contact the team today and we will be more than happy to give you expert advice and information.
