St Patrick's Day in Ireland

St Patrick's Day: This traditional Irish day celebrates the life and work of the Patron Saint of Ireland, Saint Patrick.

"May the Irish hills caress you;
may her lakes and rivers bless you;
may the luck of the Irish enfold you;
may the blessings of St Patrick behold you."

To experience a true Irish celebration and hospitality, head to Ireland this year and celebrate in style.

We have listed some of the places where celebrations are taking place, along with the closest castles to this area. Imaging enjoying the parade by day and a castle stay by night?

The annual St Patrick’s Day Parade held in Tralee has groups of dancers, football clubs, and pipe bands, which all march through the town. Everybody is welcome to join in the fun!

Our closest castle is Ballyseede, just a 10 minute drive from Tralee. Stay longer and explore the area. The castle is ideally located for touring both the Ring of Kerry and the Dingle Peninsula, which are two of the most scenic areas in Ireland.
