Crom Castle


Crom Castle is approximately 90 miles north of Dublin and Dublin International Airport and 85 miles south west of Belfast, Belfast City and International Airports.


There are frequent flights to Dublin and to both the City and International Airports at Belfast. Crom Estate, Co. Fermanagh, is within 2 hours from all.


St. Angelo Airport in nearby Enniskillen can accommodate private jets.


If you arrive by helicopter there is a landing pad in front of the West Wing.


Crom is well sign posted from the A34 at Newtownbutler and Lisnaskea, or from the N54 between Clones and Cavan.


Crom is next to the Shannon-Erne Waterway and North-east of the Crichton Tower. There is exclusive use of the estate’s Boat House for your own boat.

things to see & do

sea fishing

Sea fishing on the beautiful Donegal coast can be arranged for 3 to 10 people. Catch mackerel, pollock, cod, dogfish, ray, ling, conger, turbot, tope, blue shark and – should you get seriously lucky – one of the porbeagles!

boat hire

Boat hire can be arranged through the Visitor Centre. An overnight bird and mammal watching hide can also be hired from the centre. Day tickets for coarse fishing are also available. A local ghillie for brown trout or fly fishing can be arranged.


Florence court

Florence Court was built by the 1st Lord Mount Florence in the mid 18th century. Built in the classical style, the house has magnificent plaster work with an amazing Rococo dining room. The house is surrounded by large areas of parkland, garden and woodland, with outstanding views to the mountains.

Castle coole

Castle Coole, located in open parkland on the edge of Enniskillen and upper Lough Erne, is the family home of the Earls of Belmore. Designed by James Wyatt in the late 18th century, it is one of the finest neo-classical houses in Ireland.
