Carlowrie Castle was built by a family, for their family and, for two centuries, only two families have had the privilege of celebrating this special time of year at the castle with their friends. Carlowrie now gives other generations of friends and family the opportunity to celebrate Christmas in a castle that blends history and tradition with contemporary style and luxury.
Celebrating Christmas at Carlowrie is guaranteed to satisfy your inner child as you experience the magic and wonderment of the festive season in your own private castle. The entrance hall and the interior will be lit with twinkling candles and breath-taking decorations to complement your exquisite stay.
The castle has created the perfect Christmas experience...a 2-night luxurious stay to include mouth-watering dining, flowing Champagne, marshmallow roasting and mulled wine. All this, combined with time to rest and relax, is guaranteed to make memories to last a lifetime.
What it Includes...
Christmas Eve
- Arrival from 2 pm;
- Pre-dinner Champagne & canapés around the Christmas tree;
- Christmas songs played through the castle’s sound system;
- Christmas Eve dinner with wine, and fizz for the toast.
Christmas Day
- Christmas morning full Scottish breakfast with Bucks Fizz;
- Carlowrie Castle sumptuous Christmas lunch with all the trimmings, plus wine, tea and coffee with macaroons to finish;
- Christmas Ee’en light buffet for grazing;
- Marshmallow toasting over the fire pit, and mulled wine (cosy blankets included!).
Boxing Day
- Full Scottish breakfast;
- Departure at 10.30 am.
What it Costs...
A 2-night stay for up to 18 guests sharing 9 castle bedrooms is priced at £27,500, including VAT.
This includes:
- Accommodation for up to 18 guests, with full Scottish breakfast each day;
- All specified meals from arrival on 24 December through to breakfast before departure on 26 December;
- Unlimited tea, coffee and hot chocolate throughout the stay;
- Pre-dinner canapés and glass of fizz on Christmas Eve;
- Half bottle of wine per person and glass of fizz for toast during dinner;
- Two glasses of Bucks Fizz on Christmas morning;
- Glass of fizz to accompany Christmas Ee'en light buffet;
- Marshmallow toasting on the fire pit and mulled wine.
Extra nights can be added, subject to availability, at £9,000 per night, with full Scottish breakfast included for all guests.
