Château Rhianfa Christmas 2020
Château Rhianfa Christmas 2020
Château Rhianfa is a Grade II-listed château on the banks of the Menai Strait, with views across to the towering peaks of Snowdonia.
The team at the château will take care of everything, so you can spend your well-earned break getting cosy in front of traditional open fires, indulging in festive feasts, and enjoying time with loved ones.
What it Includes...
Arrive to a warm and festive welcome and, once you have had time to settle into your room, enjoy a traditional, full afternoon tea (served from 3 pm to 6 pm) in the Banqueting Hall with spectacular views over the Menai Straits and mountains of Snowdonia. This is the perfect opportunity to meet your fellow guests and some of the team who will be taking care of you over the coming days.
In the evening, you are invited to listen to the resident pianist, or just sit back and enjoy a sparkling cocktail before dinner, which is served in the Banqueting Hall.
Midnight Mass will be celebrated at local churches, if you wish to attend and, upon your return to the hotel, mulled wine and mince pies will be served in front of the roaring log fire of the Music Room.
After a restful night’s sleep, awaken on Christmas morning and prepare yourself for this special day with an excellent Welsh breakfast.
Later, you are invited to indulge in a glass of Christmas Punch followed by a traditional four-course Christmas Day luncheon, served between 12 noon and 3 pm, with musical accompaniment from the château's resident harpist. During the afternoon, enjoy freshly brewed tea or coffee and a slice of Christmas cake by the roaring fire in the lounges from 3 pm. Feel free to make use of the board games spread throughout the lounges or even just relax and enjoy your favourite tipple whilst you unwind after lunch!
In the evening, an informal buffet supper will be served in the Banqueting Hall. This will be another chance to just relax and enjoy the company of your fellow guests.
Another new day starting with a leisurely breakfast-brunch, then the day is yours to enjoy as you wish. Why not explore the local area, taking in the breath-taking visual beauty of the ancient coastline and wildlife, or enjoy a book in front of a log fire, and forget about the outside world? You could even take part in the Treasure Hunt!
As the evening draws in, experience a delightful seasonal menu, prepared by the Head Chef and his team. After dinner, enjoy coffee in the lounges.
