Dalmunzie Castle Christmas 2020

We are awaiting confirmation of the 2021 package, so we are showing a historic package as a guide of what to expect. It's never too early to book, so enquire for 2021.

Dalmunzie Castle is offering a fabulous four-night break, arriving on 23 December 2020, which, in addition to dinners, lunches, breakfasts, afternoon teas and drinks receptions, boasts a whisky-tasting session, a falconry display, plus a gala dinner and tasting menu.

What it Includes...

Arrival Day: 23 December

  • Arrive in time for a cream tea, with a pot of mulled wine in the lounge;
  • Get settled in, relax by the fire or enjoy exploring the Dalmunzie Estate;
  • A festive evening buffet will be followed by entertainment of Scottish Ceilidh music.

24 December 

  • Enjoy a leisurely breakfast, then free time for some last-minute shopping in Braemar;
  • A soup and sandwich lunch will be served in the lounge, alternatively, the castle can provide a packed lunch if you would like to bag a Munro or 2!;
  • An entertaining tasting session from Persie Gin Distillery will commence this evening’s festivities, followed by a 6-course gala dinner and afterwards a night-cap under the stars.

Christmas Day

Merry Christmas!

  • Santa always finds his way to Dalmunzie and presents will await you. Enjoy a full Scottish Christmas breakfast with a glass of fizz;
  • Relax by the fire with family and friends and enjoy your Christmas gifts;
  • There will be a Champagne reception followed by a traditional 5-course Christmas lunch, an evening buffet and Christmas quiz to keep you entertained.

26 December

  • A late Scottish breakfast awaits with a “Persie Gin Bloody Mary”;
  • Followed by an early afternoon falconry display and a Traditional festive afternoon tea;
  • Enjoy board games in the lounge with new-found friends;
  • A 6-course tasting menu followed by coffee and petit-fours.

27 December

  • A final Scottish breakfast before a fond farewell…. Haste Ye Back!ll!
