Fonab Castle's award-winning team will be on hand to ensure that all you have to do is sit back, relax, indulge in some fine food and wine and soak up the awe-inspiring view over Loch Faskally.

Set in a magical Scottish landscape of lochs, mountains, rivers and woodlands, Fonab Castle is the ideal place to escape from it all and enter into a Christmas wonderland; a 'home from home' in beautiful Perthshire.

Christmas Eve:

The Fonab Castle Reception and Concierge Team will be there to give a true Highland welcome helping you settle in. To help you warm up from the cold, enjoy a glass of mulled cider and some spiced fruitcake in the comfort of your own bedroom or in the lounge overlooking Loch Faskally.

Your evening dining will start with Champagne and canapés prior to dinner and the opportunity to meet some of the Fonab Team prior to dinner. This will be followed by a four-course seasonal dinner.

Christmas Day:

On Christmas morning, relax and enjoy breakfast with a glass of Buck Fizz, before a light stroll or enjoy the amazing views in the lounge.

The castle chefs will prepare a traditional Christmas Day five-course lunch, using some of Scotland's finest products, with the opportunity for you to head up to the lounge to continue the festivities, or simply let your lunch digest with perhaps a quick forty winks!

For those who can’t resist a post-Christmas lunch nibble, at your leisure, feel free to graze from the sumptuous festive plates served in the Brasserie in the evening. Just like you would at home, perhaps even taking it back to your room to relax in comfort!

Boxing Day:

After breakfast, join the castle team on the lawn for some fresh air and to pit yourself against your fellow guests, testing your skills by taking part in a Laser Clay Pigeon Shoot; there will be prizes! To keep you warm, there will be hot chocolate with a splash of your favourite tipple to give you that warm fuzzy glow!

A light leisurely lunch will be served.

In the afternoon the lounge team will provide a Cocktail Master Class with some classic cocktails and some new creations or join the Whisky Ambassador in the Whisky Lounge for some Whisky Tasting.

After a day of fun and festivities why not detox with a relaxing massage or pedicure? The Fonab Spa will be open for you to use and enjoy.

In the evening, a four-course dinner will be served, before relaxing in the lounge or retiring to your room for your final evening.

27 December:

After breakfast, the Reception and Concierge Team will be on hand will wish you a fond farewell.

Children:
0 – 5 years are free of charge;
6 – 12 years: £600 for 3 nights if sharing room with 2 adults.

Dogs are permitted in the Woodland Lodge Rooms and Loch View Lodge Rooms only at a charge of £30 per dog, per night.

In order to secure your booking, a non-refundable deposit of £350 per room is required to confirm a reservation. Full pre-payment is required by 31 October 2022.  All payments are non-refundable or transferable in the event of cancellation.
