Inverlochy Castle Christmas 2023

Inverlochy Castle sits nestled amongst the foothills of Scotland's highest mountain - the mighty Ben Nevis - and in some of the most beautiful scenery in Scotland. It's a 19th-century Scottish castle hotel that you will never forget staying in.

Christmas Eve

• Festivities begin with afternoon tea on Christmas Eve, followed by a Champagne reception and 3-course set menu dinner at 7 pm.

Christmas Day

• Wake up on Christmas Day where a truly festive breakfast awaits you.
• Why not brave the winter weather with a stroll around Inverlochy’s grounds, which offer stunning views of the castle with Ben Nevis, Britain’s highest mountain in the background. For those who prefer less energetic pursuits, a log fire burns welcomingly in the Great Hall, ideal for snuggling up to with a good book.
• A glass of Champagne is served as Father Christmas visits your bedrooms at 11 am, bearing gifts to all guests.
• Traditional Christmas Day lunch is served in the dining room, with drinks at 12 noon and dining at 12.30 pm.
• The King’s Speech will be available for viewing in the Front Hall at 3 pm.
• A Christmas Night cold supper will be served between 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm in the Dining Room.

Boxing Day

• Boxing Day offers a chance to sleep in a little this morning before brunch served between 8 am and 10.30 am.
• After brunch get your cameras ready to capture the spectacular Falconry Display on the front lawn at 11 am, with Hawks, Owls and Falcons. You may even have the opportunity to join in!
• At 12.30 pm, Clay Pigeon Shooting will take place, followed by a Sheep Dog Trial at 2 pm. The rest of the day is yours until another 3-course set menu dinner in the evening, commencing at 7 pm for canapés.

As menus are set, it is vitally important that the castle is aware of any dietary needs in advance of your stay for chef to create a special menu with the same attention and care.

The above rates quoted are per room for 2 guests, inclusive of all meals and activities detailed within the 3-night package outlined above, plus VAT.   A discretionary 5% service charge will be added to the price of your Christmas Package.

Guests aged 8 years and over, sharing a room, on an extra bed, will pay 25% of the adult price for that room type. If a child is under 8 years, their accommodation will be free of charge, but their meals will be charged as taken.

To secure a room or suite at Inverlochy Castle, a 50% non-refundable deposit upon reservation is required with the final 50% non-refundable payment made by 31 October 2023. Please note that the cancellation policy is 60 days prior to arrival and, should you wish to amend or cancel your reservation prior to this time, you will forfeit the deposit made up to this point. Reservations cancelled within 60 days of arrival are liable to be charged the full cost of the stay.
