Castle Law New Year 2023

Indulge yourself with a New Year break in this exceptional 15th-century Scottish tower, which has been lovingly renovated to accommodate up to 14 overnight guests in authentic, relaxing and comfortable surroundings, less than an hour from Glasgow Airport.

Castle Law was constructed as a wedding gift for Princess Mary, the eldest daughter of James II of Scotland, upon her marriage to Thomas Boyd, the Earl of Arran. Six hundred years later, it is available for rent as one of Scotland's most luxurious and exclusive holiday homes.

What is now the formal Great Hall of this comfortable but unusual home once served as a courtroom - and comes complete with a pit prison behind a flagstone trap-door. There's also a 'murder hole' through which hot oil could have been poured over unwelcome visitors outside!

What it Includes...

Private use of the castle for up to 14 people on a self-catered basis.

What it Costs...

A 7-night option arriving on 27 December 2023 is offered at £6500 for self-catered (vacation-rental) accommodation.
