Dalmunzie Castle New Year 2020

Dalmunzie is a stunning castle located in the heart of Scotland and has a real appeal for those looking for a traditional Scottish New Year.

Based in North Perthshire, the central belt, including Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling, Fife, Dundee and Perth are all within two hours' drive.

The castle is offering a 4-night Hogmanay package, giving you great access to the wonderful Cairngorm Mountains or, if you prefer a more relaxed stay, lounging beside roaring fires, with great food and bubbly. If you are a hardy skier, Glenshee is just 15 minutes away, offering extensive ski and snowboarding facilities.

What it Includes...

Arrival Day: 30 December 2020

  • Arrive in time for a cream tea, with a pot of mulled wine in the lounge;
  • Get settled in, relax by the fire or enjoy exploring the Dalmunzie Estate;
  • To kick off the celebrations, the castle has an entertaining tasting session from Persie Gin Distillery, followed by a festive evening buffet.

31 December 2020

  • Enjoy a leisurely breakfast, then some free time to prepare for the evening ahead;
  • A Champagne afternoon tea will be provided by the fire in the lounge, with board games to follow;
  • Join the team for a Champagne reception followed by a 6-course gala dinner; piper, Scottish ceilidh music and fireworks at the bells, followed by stovies and a wee dram!

New Year's Day

Happy New Year!

  • Enjoy a long lie-in, then join the team for brunch with a 'Persie Gin Bloody Mary', followed by an early afternoon falconry display and Glenkilrie game pie;
  • Enjoy board games in the lounge with new-found friends.
  • A 6-course Scottish tasting menu followed by coffee and petit-fours.

2 January 2021

  • Enjoy a full Scottish breakfast;
  • A soup and sandwich lunch will be served in the lounge, alternatively, the team can provide a packed lunch if you would like to bag a Munro or 2!;
  • A four-course â la carte dinner, followed by a food and drink quiz to keep you entertained.

3 January 2021

  • A final Scottish breakfast before a fond farewell…. Haste Ye Back!
